What this analyzer actually checks

The analyzer reports simple, inspectable signals: character count, word count, capitalization, repeated punctuation and matches against a small visible-style list of promotional phrases. It does not claim to predict inbox placement or open rate.

How to improve a subject line

  1. Make the main benefit, question or context clear early.
  2. Remove filler words that do not help the recipient decide whether the message is relevant.
  3. Avoid excessive capitalization and punctuation.
  4. Match the promise in the subject with the email body.
  5. Test variants with your actual audience rather than treating generic benchmarks as universal rules.

Why there is no deliverability score

Inbox placement depends on sender reputation, authentication, complaint rates, engagement, list quality, content, provider filtering and other factors. A subject line alone cannot provide a scientifically valid deliverability percentage.

Promotional wording requires context

A word such as “free” is not automatically prohibited. The check simply flags wording worth reviewing for tone and accuracy; it is not a spam-filter simulator.

Frequently asked questions

Can a subject line analyzer predict open rate?
Not reliably from the subject alone. Audience, sender, timing, offer and inbox context all affect opens.
Does using the word free automatically send email to spam?
No. This tool flags promotional wording for review, but deliverability depends on many factors beyond individual words.
What subject length should I use?
There is no universal best length. Keep the main message clear early and test with your audience and device mix.
Does this tool send or store my subject line?
No. The analysis in this release runs in your browser.
