Callback Tracker and Callback24 are practical CallPage alternatives for businesses that primarily need website visitors to request a phone call. Brightcall, formerly Convolo, deserves a look when routing new form leads to sales representatives is the main job. Leadoo fits a broader website-conversion project, while CloudTalk addresses missed calls inside a phone operation. Twilio is an option for a team willing to build its own callback service. Keep CallPage if its current routing, scheduling and call allowance already fit. Compare the complete journey from request to answered conversation, including failed attempts, country coverage and follow-up ownership.

A callback request is not the same as a missed call

CallPage lets a website visitor request an immediate or scheduled callback, and also offers routing, virtual phone and meeting-scheduling capabilities. A replacement should handle the operation you actually use. A phone system that retries an unanswered incoming call may be useful, but does not automatically replace the popup that collects a visitor's number before they call you.

Keep CallPage when the widget is already generating requests that your team can answer and its CRM handoff works. Its current plans separate successful-call allowances, users, operators and domains. Essentials includes up to 50 successful calls monthly; Pro includes up to 100. Additional capacity and the AI voice offering can affect the total bill. A trial is available, but it is not a permanent free plan.

Reasons to switch include a different country mix, a need to route existing forms, a larger telephone-support operation or a simpler widget requirement. Do not assume another vendor's call quota is equivalent: minutes, attempts and successfully connected calls measure different things. CallPage's definition refers to a call answered by both parties and lasting longer than ten seconds; check how the competing service bills the same conversation.

This guide compares official product and pricing information checked on October 14, 2026. Recommendations are editorial judgments, not results from firsthand trials. Older lists often recommend LiveCall, but its official destination now directs customers to CallPage. It is therefore excluded as an independent alternative. Convolo is represented under its current Brightcall name.

Six candidates with different scopes

Alternative What it replaces Cost context Main qualification
Callback Tracker Website callback widget US/Canada Start-Up $14/month with 100 minutes International rates and extra chat agents differ
Callback24 Widget plus consultant mobile workflow Free plan: 15 calls monthly; paid regional plans Free history lasts one month
Brightcall Rapid response to form and CRM leads Request a quote for the required workflow Verify integrations, calling coverage and operator model
Leadoo Callback within a wider conversion project Current implementation/package quote needed Callback availability alone does not establish bundle inclusion
CloudTalk Phone queues and missed-call recovery Per-user subscription plus plan/country-dependent costs Partial substitute for a website-first widget
Twilio A custom-developed callback application Usage, phone-number and optional service charges Engineering, monitoring and routing are your responsibility

The comparison does not rank every phone-related product as a direct widget replacement. Lead-data enrichment, contact databases and a plain meeting-booking link can complement callbacks, but they do not deliver the same phone-connection workflow.

Callback Tracker: a straightforward widget for a defined calling region

Callback Tracker is a candidate when the requirement is an embedded callback request with a manageable small-business setup. Its pricing and FAQ page describes scheduled availability, after-hours requests and simultaneous ringing of representatives. Those are closer to the core CallPage use case than a generic outbound dialer.

The published US and Canada Start-Up plan is $14 per month with 100 calling minutes and 100 text messages. It lists unlimited websites and a live-chat agent. Minutes and texts do not roll over; additional chat agents cost extra. The page separates international plans from the domestic package. Its international coverage includes India, but that does not make the $14 domestic package an India quote.

Shortlist it when your destinations fall inside a documented package and you want to keep the widget workflow simple. Have two representatives receive a test request and confirm which one becomes the owner in your records. If nobody answers, inspect the notification and the point at which the customer is asked to schedule a later call.

Skip it when your decision depends on an unverified advanced CRM synchronization or on a price published in an old directory. The official site contains older footer dates, so confirm the current commercial offer before signing up. The published package is useful evidence for a discussion with the vendor, not proof that a specific account will receive every desired country and feature.

Callback24: a low-volume trial of the actual consultant workflow

Callback24 combines a website callback request with a consultant-facing mobile workflow. This makes it worth considering for a business whose salespeople answer from mobile phones rather than a dedicated contact-center desktop. Evaluate what the representative sees, not just how the popup looks to the visitor.

The global pricing page documents a continuing free package with up to 15 calls per month, one domain or service, two users and one month of data history. Its Starter package lists up to 120 calls and three months of history. Paid prices vary between annual and monthly selections, and regional offers differ, so confirm your country, billing period and tax treatment rather than borrowing a Polish plan or an annual display for a global quote.

The free package is useful for learning whether the consultant can act on a request without changing the rest of your sales process. It is a poor archive for a long-running lead database: one-month history means the CRM or another approved record should retain the information your business needs. Confirm which fields and outcomes an integration actually carries.

Choose Callback24 for a mobile-led team with limited initial volume. Skip it if the required integration, retained history or call allowance is only promised by a different regional package. An unlimited user or domain statement on a paid tier does not remove the call cap or establish unlimited retention.

Brightcall: route an existing lead into a conversation

The former Convolo website now redirects to Brightcall. Its Speed to Lead product describes capturing an inbound lead, finding an available representative, briefing that person and connecting the lead through a call bridge. It also describes writing information back to a CRM. That scope is a useful fit when requests already arrive through forms, ads or an existing lead pipeline.

This is a different buying question from replacing a small callback button. Ask the vendor to demonstrate the exact event that starts the call, how agent availability is resolved and where a failed connection appears. For example, submitting one form twice should not silently create two independent sequences of calls. That is a proposed acceptance test, not a documented guarantee of duplicate handling.

A public numeric base price for the required Speed to Lead setup was not verified. Request a quote that distinguishes representatives, sites, calling destinations, minutes and any AI component. Do not reuse prices from older Convolo comparison articles. Similarly, headline response times and conversion claims should not replace a pilot under your staffing conditions.

Brightcall belongs on the shortlist for teams that need a coordinated form-to-call handoff. Skip it when you cannot justify the broader routing setup or do not have somebody responsible for defining the queue. Confirm the actual CRM object, field mapping and retry behavior before allowing it to call real leads.

Leadoo: make callback one contact path in a conversion project

Leadoo positions its platform around website conversion tools, insights and associated expertise. Its Callback CTA page presents a callback contact option as part of that wider visitor-engagement approach. Consider it when the project includes qualification questions or other conversational paths as well as a phone request.

The tradeoff is scope. A team replacing only one popup may not need an implementation project with several conversion tools. Conversely, a website that needs to ask which service the visitor wants before sending a request to sales can benefit from evaluating the entire conversation. Write those questions first, then decide which contact channel each answer should offer.

Leadoo's pricing page could not supply a reliably accessible current base quote during the final check, and its homepage refers to new AI branding and packages. Ask for the current callback entitlement, implementation work, ongoing optimization, extra domains and integrations in writing. The existence of a Callback CTA page does not prove that every newly named plan includes it.

Shortlist Leadoo when you want a wider conversion workflow and can involve the person who owns your website funnel. Skip it if the essential requirement is a small independently priced widget. Treat consent copy, contact preferences and field mappings as part of the design, rather than adding them after the automated handoff is already running.

CloudTalk: recover unanswered calls within a phone operation

CloudTalk's callback documentation describes missed-call recovery using a callback queue, agent routing and configured retry rules. This is relevant when the problem is people already dialing your business and failing to reach somebody. It is a partial CallPage replacement: a telephone callback queue and a website visitor requesting a first call are distinct entry points.

The pricing page uses per-user plans with country and monthly/annual selections. It also distinguishes calling allowances, integrations and add-ons. Euro prices were displayed during research, so this guide does not convert them or present a universal dollar rate. Obtain a quote for your country and the tier that includes the callback workflow you need; check which number types and destinations are excluded from a calling bundle.

Choose CloudTalk when you are consolidating sales or support telephony, rather than buying a widget in isolation. Pilot a busy queue, an unanswered call and an after-hours request. Verify the deadline and retry count, and make sure a customer who has already been contacted is not left awaiting an unrelated second follow-up.

Skip it if the only desired change is the look of a website popup. Replacing the underlying phone system can introduce number-porting and training work that a widget change would avoid. Number portability is country and carrier dependent, and was not verified for your particular numbers.

Twilio: build only when ownership of the workflow matters

Twilio Programmable Voice supplies APIs for a team building its own calling application. The voice quickstarts show the developer-oriented setup. Twilio is therefore an infrastructure alternative, not a completed CallPage-style popup with a ready sales administration panel.

A custom implementation can connect your existing request form to your own routing logic and record states in your chosen system. It also makes your team responsible for validation, authentication, retries, abuse prevention, agent availability and monitoring. The decision should turn on the value of controlling those behaviors, not on comparing one minute rate to a hosted product's monthly subscription.

The United States price page lists local outgoing calls at US$0.0140 per minute and a local phone number at US$1.15 per month. Other call types, countries and optional services differ; recordings have additional charges. Those figures are components, not the complete cost of a callback connecting a representative and a customer. Map the implementation's billable legs and features before estimating a total.

Choose Twilio when you have engineering capacity and a routing requirement worth owning. Skip it if your team wants a managed website widget with minimal operational responsibility. A successful demonstration call is only the beginning: test duplicate events, expired requests, failed webhooks and an unavailable representative before relying on a custom service.

Budget for answered conversations rather than a headline rate

Prepare one month of aggregate operating data: requested callbacks, successfully connected calls, average duration, calling destinations and the number of people receiving or managing calls. Do not include customers' personal details in that comparison. The same activity can consume a successful-call allowance, a minute bundle or several metered services depending on the platform.

Ask each vendor to price that exact scenario. Include extra domains, phone numbers, operators, manager licenses, recording retention and CRM integration. Then ask what happens when the allowance runs out. A system that stops offering callbacks at a cap has a different operational consequence from one that continues at an overage rate. Confirm that behavior instead of assuming either policy from a low starting price.

Also distinguish the available representative from the account user. Somebody who answers a mobile phone may not need the same dashboard license as a manager reviewing recordings. Plan labels are not standardized across these products.

Move the widget without losing follow-up ownership

Export the lead data and logs available to your CallPage account, retain the old source securely for any required review, and move unresolved follow-ups into the destination owner queue. A universal import preserving every recording, status and attribution field was not verified. Ask the target vendor how it handles historical records before promising a complete migration.

Run five proposed acceptance scenarios on the selected product:

  1. A visitor requests an immediate call while two representatives are available.
  2. A visitor requests a specific time outside today's business hours.
  3. Nobody answers the representative leg, and a retry or fallback must take ownership.
  4. A duplicate form event or repeated click arrives before the first request is resolved.
  5. An international destination is called and its billed usage is inspected.

Check the request ID, assigned representative, final outcome and CRM record after each scenario. Have a rollback path that restores the old widget without duplicating calls. Remove the old automation only when the new system owns all new requests, including failures.

For paid campaigns, use consistent source labels before comparing attribution. ToolboxKart's UTM Campaign URL Builder can help generate those labels. It does not record calls, identify people or prove that a telephone platform carried campaign data through the lead handoff.

Questions that commonly change the shortlist

Is there a continuing free alternative?

Callback24 documents a free package with 15 monthly calls, one domain, two users and one month of history. That is different from a temporary paid-plan trial. Decide whether the cap and retention are sufficient for the workflow you intend to keep using.

Is LiveCall still an independent CallPage competitor?

Its official domain redirects to a CallPage page announcing that LiveCall is working with CallPage. An old independent ranking is therefore misleading for a new purchase. Verify the current business and product destination rather than using an outdated comparison table.

Does a cloud phone system replace the website widget?

Only partially unless its website-request flow has been verified. CloudTalk's documented callback process addresses callers who did not reach the business. A prospective visitor entering a number into a popup is a different trigger and may need a separate integration.

Can we retain the same telephone numbers?

That depends on the current carrier, number type, country and target provider. Get the portability requirements and cutover sequence before canceling any existing number. This guide does not establish that your particular numbers can be transferred.

Will a faster callback guarantee more sales?

No. An answered call still needs a relevant offer, the right representative and useful follow-up. Measure connection and qualified-outcome rates in your own pilot. Vendor timing claims and marketing percentages are not evidence of the result your staffing and traffic will produce.

Pick the smallest system that owns the full request

Start with Callback Tracker or Callback24 for a website-first callback workflow, Brightcall for form-to-representative routing, and Leadoo for a wider conversion project. Consider CloudTalk when missed calls and phone queues are the main problem. Build on Twilio only when control of the workflow justifies operating it. Keep CallPage when it already covers the whole request, including the cases when nobody answers.
